Fifth grade students in Faye Duffey’s class at Crestview Elementary School have undertaken a Clothing Drive to collect gently used adults’ and children’s clothing items. Recognizing a need to help provide warm clothing as the cold weather approaches, the students will be collecting, sorting, folding and distributing the donations through Friday, November 30.
“This is another way for kids to help kids,” said Rachel Windel, one of the clothing drive’s organizers. Clothing donations can be dropped off in the school’s Library during regular school hours. Crestview is located at 7600 East 71st Street in Lawrence Township.
