The Farmers Bank is opening a new location in Westfield.
Steve Latour, the former Westfield Chamber chief executive officer (CEO), will serve as the financial center director.
“I’m a resident of Westfield and honored that I have the opportunity to continue to work in the community that I love,” Latour says.
Latour plans to bring his extensive experience and deep understanding of the Westfield business landscape to The Farmers Bank team.
Brittany Hall, a seasoned financial veteran, will be the financial center assistant director. She has two decades of business experience in the banking industry and is looking forward to working at the new bank.
The Farmers Bank has been familiar to Hamilton County residents, with locations in Noblesville, Fishers and Sheridan, as well as a loan office in Carmel.
Latour, Hall, and The Farmers Bank President and CEO Chris Cook, a Westfield resident, are eager to bring Hoosier values and the personal service only a community bank can provide to the Westfield community.
Latour adds that he will spearhead business development opportunities across Westfield and Carmel, and lead the team at the Westfield location.
Hall will oversee daily operations, facilitate the opening of new accounts and actively engage in community events.
Latour notes that their goal is to exceed expectations of how a community bank can serve the needs of the Westfield community, financial and otherwise.
The Farmers Bank is an Indiana institution. Latour says The Farmers Bank is an esteemed community bank with a legacy dating back to its establishment in 1876 in Clinton County, Indiana.
The new facility will offer services tailored to suit customers’ lifestyles, and their business and nonprofit needs.
From in-person service to video ATMs and virtual banking experiences, The Farmers Bank offers everything you’d expect from a bank today, with the personal service that is harder and harder to find. Offering a secure place to deposit business or personal funds, competitive CDs, mortgages, and a range of loans including commercial and home equity options, the team is committed to providing clients with a one-stop destination for all financial aspirations
The Westfield branch will also feature a state-of-the-art Smartflower, harnessing solar power to contribute to the facility’s energy needs while offering a hands-on educational experience for local schools.
A grand opening celebration at The Farmers Bank is planned for January.
