Steve + Jada – Carpenter Realtors: The Perfect Match

A chance encounter during a boat ride on Geist Reservoir in 2017 led Jada Sparks Green to meet her perfect match. Jadas brother invited her out on his boat to watch the solar eclipse with a large group including his neighbor Steve Green. Steve and Jada hit it off, and the rest, as they say, is history. The two dated, got engaged and eventually married in 2019.
Jada has spent 22 years as a successful real estate agent serving more than 2,000 clients and earning many accolades on the way. Steve has spent 33 years as a firefighter for the Indianapolis Fire Department. When considering his impending retirement, Steve knew he wanted to do something to help people. He earned his real estate license in 2019, and thats when the Steve and Jada Real Estate Team was born.
We were the No. 1 team for homes sold in 2021 for the entire Carpenter Realtors company, which has 34 offices and 650 agents, Jada says. We are grateful for each and every opportunity, client, referral and friend!
The athletic duo spends as much time as they can on the lake boating, skiing and wakesurfing. Their knowledge and love of the lake sets them apart from other Realtors in the area. They recently opened a new office in Geist that Jada manages.
Were part of this community, Steve says. Ive lived in Geist since 2011 and know the area well. Were out on the boat five or six days a week when it’s warm. We are knowledgeable about the different areas of the lake, types of sea walls, boat lifts, types of boats you might want for a property on the water and what is important to consider when buying or selling the lake lifestyle. We can conduct lake tours and show homes by boat which certainly gives buyers a unique perspective.
Whether on or off the water, Steve and Jada value Geist area residents. When a client comes to them, they get Steve and Jada. The couple says its essential that clients know they dont get passed off to a junior team member.
