David Leyda, executive director of Noblesville Youth Sports Alliance (NYSA), says the organization benefits multiple people in the community.

Noblesville Youth Sports Alliance“The Noblesville Youth Sports Alliance exists to assist sanctioned nonprofit and community-focused youth sports organizations with marketing, outreach, stakeholder coordination, board development, administrative support, uniform documentation and online presence,” Leyda says. “Our members include sports programs across Noblesville, serving boys and girls from 3 years old through high school. I encourage people to check out noblesvillesports.com or facebook.com/noblesvillesports to find out more.”

The organizations involved include Noblesville Babe Ruth Baseball, Miller Basketball Academy, Noblesville Elementary Football League, Noblesville Youth Baseball, Noblesville Girls Basketball, White River Sports, Miller Backers, and Noblesville Swim Club, among many others.

Leyda says NYSA greatly benefits the youth of the Noblesville community by educating kids about all the great sports programs available.

“We want to ensure that parents and players are aware of all the opportunities available to participate in youth sports,” Leyda says. “We want to educate them about all of the various sports available to them, and connect them with each organization. In addition, the NYSA is working to establish a scholarship fund to help support underprivileged families with the costs to participate in sports programs.”

Leyda loves being involved with NYSA.

“I was initially invited to participate as a representative of Noblesville Youth Baseball,” Leyda says. “I am a current board member. After learning more about the mission of NYSA, I knew that I wanted to be more involved, and help shape and drive the future of the organization. I am very passionate about supporting local youth sports programs, and I want to be involved to help ensure their longevity and success.”

Leyda, who has been a Noblesville resident for 24 years, encourages other people to get involved. He has also served as a coach, as well as a volunteer.

“We welcome sports programs that fit the mission of NYSA to apply for membership to the Alliance,” Leyda says. “Outside of that, we welcome people with a passion to serve to reach out to us about volunteer opportunities. In the near future, we will have opportunities to volunteer in advisory positions within NYSA, and to also help volunteer their time and talents for each member organization.”

Leyda notes that NYSA is a success because of the different partnerships involved.Noblesville Youth Sports Alliance

“The NYSA is a partnership with the City of Noblesville, Noblesville Schools, and each member organization,” he says. “The city has a vested interested in driving commerce and businesses to the city, and often these companies want to know more about the various youth sports programs available to them. The NYSA helps the city to promote those available sports programs to potential companies. Noblesville Schools has a similar interest in that they want to make sure families who are considering moving to Noblesville, and ultimately Noblesville Schools, are aware of the various youth sports programs available.”
