Nexus Dental Brings Expertise and State-of-the-Art Technology to Patient Care

Dr. Kyle Davis was pursuing a career path in healthcare when he realized he wanted to be involved in more direct patient care. He shadowed several professions, and after shadowing his family dentist he discovered that he enjoyed the patient interaction and family feel.
He grew up in Fairmount, Indiana, graduating from Madison-Grant High School. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Indiana University-Purdue University of Indianapolis before attending the Indiana University School of Dentistry. Dr. Davis graduated with the honor of high academic distinction and was elected as a member of the Theta Theta Chapter of the Omicron Kappa Upsilon national dental honor society.
Dr. Davis started practicing at Nexus Dental in Westfield in November of 2021. Nexus Dental offers various services including crowns, emergency dental care, cosmetic dentistry, dental imaging, endodontics, implants, dentures, oral surgery, Invisalign and teeth whitening.
Technology is a key differentiating factor for Nexus Dental. The practice utilizes the iTero Element 5D imaging system, which provides cutting-edge digital scanning. The iTero Element is an intra-oral scanner that replaces typical putty impressions. Instead, it is a 3D digital model of the patients teeth, allowing Dr. Davis and his team a quicker turnaround time for procedures that require laboratory time. If minor changes are needed, the digital impression often eliminates the need for the patient to return for a new impression. This saves time, instead of returning to the office for another appointment.
Dr. Davis and his staff also utilize a cone beam computed tomography imaging technique for diagnosing and treatment planning. This X-ray goes much further than the traditional 2D image completed on a routine examination. This helps enhance the patients diagnosis when there are complicated issues present and helps create a more precise image to enhance treatment planning. Nexus Dental is always looking to advance to the next level and will be adding more technology in the near future to continue to provide the best patient care!
