QWhat do you do at KruFit?
At KruFit we empower others to take control of their lives by improving their fitness & learning skills for self defense.
We offer three separate programs that all offer various fitness benefits as well as practical self defense skills.
At KruFit we offer Muay Thai, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu & CrossFit.
Muay Thai is similar to kickboxing & is a great workout for improving fitness as it is a total body workout focusing on striking utilizing punches, kicks, knees & elbows.
Brazilian Jiu Jitsu focuses on the skill of taking an opponent to the ground, controlling one's opponent, gaining a dominant position and using a number of techniques to force them into submission via joint locks or chokeholds.
CrossFit is a type of training that includes constantly varied, functional movements at high intensity. The benefits of CrossFit include lowering the risk of overuse training injuries while attaining excellent overall general physical preparedness (GPP) and increased work capacity (the ability to perform better in your everyday tasks: work, sports, athletics, etc).
