Kimblewick, located at Towne Road and 151st Street, is the first Del Webb development in Westfield. The resort-style community for adults aged 55 and older feels tucked away from the bustling city, yet it’s close to restaurants, banks, grocery stores and more. Open since the spring of 2021, it will eventually boast a 13,000-square-foot clubhouse and nearly 500 homes.

The community is geared towards people who want to live life to the fullest with friends and neighbors. Residents can enjoy scheduled activities and events knowing that lawn care and landscape upkeep is done for them. Another plus is new-construction living with minimal maintenance worries.

Del Webb is a brand of PulteGroup, a national home construction company. It has a reputation for building quality homes with many options and features. The floor plans offered at Kimblewick are from the GenYou collection, which is new to the Indianapolis-area market.

The floor plans were developed from extensive research and consumer feedback. They were designed with practical features that emphasize convenience and comfort. The end results are homes that are flexible and evoke a feeling of beauty and livability.

“The community has a horse-racing theme,” says John Van Beynen, Indianapolis and Louisville division vice president of sales. “It is offering three different series of houses – Keeneland, Belmont and Churchill. There are multiple floor plans within each series. Home sizes run from 1,502 to 2,754 square feet.”Kimblewick

The Keeneland series reflects luxurious ranch-style living. The kitchens have large islands and connected eating areas. Gathering rooms have an open, spacious feel. Master suites are tucked away for privacy.

For those who embrace an updated, open-concept layout, the Belmont series fits the bill. The kitchens are perfect for entertaining and become the place where everyone wants to be. The grand owner suites are sure to impress.

The exclusive Churchill series has many innovative features including enormous gathering rooms. Car aficionados and collectors will be thrilled with its three-car garage option. Owners will not lack storage space and are sure to relish the number of flex spaces.

“Every home includes a lot but some lots are considered premium such as those on a pond, and so come at an additional cost,” Van Beynen says. “The floor plans are varied. Buyers can choose from two up to four bedrooms, and from two to four and a half baths. There are many color palettes to choose from.”

Del Webb neighborhoods are well-known for the sense of community that their signature lifestyle fosters. Kimblewick employs a lifestyle director who coordinates a large number of clubs and activities such as guided hikes and pickleball teams, or outings to sporting events as a group. Relationships are built through these opportunities.

“Residents move to Del Webb communities because they want to live where they play,” Van Beynen says. “They want people nearby that they can play with. They are able to meet people with shared interests. These neighborhoods really become communities.”

The clubhouse amenity center is scheduled to be open in the spring of 2023. It is impressive not only for its size, but also because of everything it has to offer. Besides an outdoor pool area for leisure, lap swimming and a spa, there is an indoor pool and a fully equipped fitness center. Outside, athletic courts are slated for pickleball, tennis and bocce ball. In the planning phase is an inside golf simulator plus a coffee bar. Tastefully decorated, the center will be the spot for community events and meetings.

The beautifully landscaped setting is perfect for group walks or even a chance for some independent individual time. Dog walkers and bird watchers love the lakes and nature trails. Several parks are located within the grounds and include spaces dedicated to yoga, butterflies and dogs.

The models and sales office at Kimblewick are open seven days a week from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sales have been brisk and 150 homes have been sold so far. Kimblewick joins another Del Webb community located in Hamilton County, Britton Falls in Fishers. Homesites sold very quickly in Britton Falls and the same is expected at Kimblewick. Interested buyers are encouraged to drive into the neighborhood and visit the models and sales office.

Del Webb communities are dedicated to providing adults aged 55 and up with well-built homes in a comfortable and friendly atmosphere. Residents feel like they are on vacation 365 days a year. If you want to live in a place full of active and interesting people, come check Kimblewick out.
