Danna Green, a licensed insurance agent with HealthMarkets, is celebrating her 12th year serving the Center Grove community.
Her office focuses on a customer service mindset and serves individuals, seniors and small groups.
“I love meeting new people,” Green says. “I really enjoy working with people one-on-one and making sure that I can help them structure their policies to their needs, because not everybody’s needs are the same. It’s like a puzzle trying to put things together that will be best for the client and their situation.” 
Appointments with Green and her team are available in person, by phone or via Zoom. Green says changes occur every year, and HealthMarkets provides agents who can help those needing coverage through the process.
“We work with all Marketplace plans, and there are a lot of rules that people should be aware of,” Green says. “They don’t want to get caught in a situation, and by coming to us instead of calling the Marketplace and getting a navigator, we can educate them on what is best for their situation. Guiding people is definitely something we pride ourselves in. Unless you have really been around insurance, it’s very confusing, and we try to take that confusion out of the whole equation. No situation is too confusing for us.”
Green specializes in Medicare as well as life and supplemental insurance. Annual Enrollment for senior products begins October 15 and runs through December 7. Open Enrollment begins November 1 for those under 65.
In addition to Indiana, Green serves clients in several other states including Florida, Kentucky and Texas. Policies and laws vary from state to state, as well as internationally.
“A lot of people are now traveling, and health insurance does not cover people going to visit other countries,” Green says. “We do a lot of travel health insurance policies.”
Her team is currently ranked number one in health insurance nationwide, and is a Platinum Chairman’s Club Member. They work with all major insurance carriers.
Each year, Green and her team do reviews with each of their clients. She recommends scheduling a meeting early, because the calendar will fill up towards the end of the year.
