Local Company Moves to New Millersburg Location

Some years ago there was a popular song that beckoned to folks, inviting them to let the sunshine in. And while most would be perfectly willing and happy to do exactly that, it is always nice to have the option to set a different mood by adjusting the measures of light. To accomplish this, people have often chosen to utilize window treatments that are not only practical, but that serve as a decorative flourish to any room.

Four Woods Shades and Blinds, now in its new location near Millersburg, is beginning a new chapter in the business, which has been a family-owned operation for nearly a decade. Formerly situated in Topeka, this small but innovative company has passed the proverbial baton to a new generation of ownership. Marlin and Dorene Yoder premiered the updated facility in April of 2021.
The company features an extensive line of window dressings, including sheers, room darkening materials, roller shades, and coverings that provide sun protection, to list a few. There is a showroom on the premises that illustrates various designs and finished looks, along with sample books that customers can peruse to glimpse various colors, finishes and creations to either blend in with, or add accents to, a rooms decorative scheme. They specialize in roller shades, but are also dealers in other popular features, such as cellular shades, vertical, wood and vinyl blinds, among others.
The Yoders can not only provide a spectrum of styles for customers to consider, but they also take on the responsibility of measuring and installing, for the customers convenience. And if there is something that strikes a shoppers fancy that isnt readily available in stock, Four Woods Shades and Blinds will put forth the extra assistance to find something comparable, if not the exact request.
The staff is also looking ahead to the holiday season, and will be planning to host a promotional event on November 16.
