Originally from Kokomo, Owner Brad Cottingham is a jack-of-all-trades when it comes to home maintenance. Nevertheless, he ultimately considers himself a concrete guy.
Im just kind of a handyman all around, but concrete is my passion, he says. Thats where my heart is. I just love doing it.
In the concrete realm, Cottingham can tackle just about any project.
I can do anything with concrete, Cottingham says. On the decorative end, its open to anything.
At the moment, Cottingham says hes been busy with concrete overlays, which can have a range of benefits.
For the customer, it saves on the charge for coming in and tearing up the yard – I dont have to do that, Cottingham says. It also saves on the charge of hauling away all the existing concrete that Ive busted out.
When it comes to the locations he services, Cottingham says he tends to stay within a 60-mile radius of his Galveston headquarters.
Ive been to Geist, Wabash, Marion and even two hours north, almost to Goshen, he says. It all depends on the job.
With every project, Cottingham Concrete takes pride in using the best products while ensuring every customer is satisfied.
Im pretty straightforward, Cottingham says. What I say is what I say, and if I tell you Ill do it, then Ill do it.
Cottingham himself is always ready to get his hands dirty throughout the various jobs his company undertakes.
Youre not going to see me pull up in my truck and point fingers to my guys, he says. Im going to be on your project. Thats a big difference between us and your bigger companies.
