We are a boutique-style Camp Bow Wow location and run a structured enrichment-based program, which is completely unique to our area.
Here at CBW Carmel, we utilize contact-free handling techniques and strive for a low-stress environment, as we have a rewards-based APDT-certified trainer on staff directing our Certified Camp Counselors.
We utilize an interval play schedule here at Camp and enforce Rest Breaks in order to prevent over-stimulation and damage to bones, joints, and muscles due to over-exercise. We truly strive to ensure that Camp is a low stress environment, down to our color scheme, scents, and sounds here at CBW Carmel.
Each and every one of our staff members is certified in Pet First CPR and are trained extensively in dog behavior and body language from our corporate office and on an ongoing basis.
All potential Campers are required to pass a behavioral evaluation to participate in Day or Overnight Camp and have a rigorous screening process, including strict vaccine and health requirements. All Campers are separated by Size and Temperament into 3 different Indoor/Outdoor Play Areas, where they spend the majority of their days socializing with other Campers. We offer only the BEST amenities, including ForeverLawn K9 Grass artificial turf and Puppy Playground play equipment.
The most PAWESOME part of Camp (and most Pet Parents #1 favorite) is our live Camper Cams, where you can watch your pup romp around with their FURIENDS!
We also have a certified professional groomer on staff to ensure your Camper is always looking their best.
