Simply Chic is more than the name of this modern resale boutique, it also perfectly describes the selection of womens fashion youll find here. Opened in July in the Smith Valley Shopping Center at SR135 and Smith Valley Road, it is the newest of the six Indy-area stores owned by Andy Burtner.
For ten years, Center Grove shoppers routinely visit the Fishers Simply Chic store. They always mention how much theyd love to have a Simply Chic closer to home, says manager Kim Richardson. Were beyond excited to bring the Simply Chic experience to Indys southside.
That experience is the philosophy of focusing on the customer. We deliver an experience from which each customer knows we appreciate that they are shopping with us and our wide selection of ultra high-value fashion, says Burtner. We want them to want to come back.
Simply Chic buys and sells thousands of like-new apparel and accessories. Unlike consignment, customers are paid cash on the spot for items that Simply Chic is able to accept. Buyers handpick every item by style, brand and condition. The Simply Chic store is modern, clean and bright and has something for everyone — teens to Baby Boomers.
Sizes range from X-Small to 5x or 0 to 32, says store manager, Maddie McQueen. We carry everything from high-end brands like Louis Vuitton and Kate Spade and popular brands such as Anthroplogie and Free People to everyday brands like J-Crew, Loft and more. All are gently-used current styles and are a fraction of the retail price.
Accessories include belts, shoes, jewelry and designer handbags. A free Rewards program stretches the savings even further. For every dollar spent or earned by selling to the store, the rewards member receive a point. Once 300 points are accumulated, the member receives a 20% Off Shopping Spree. This shopping spree is good for any of the six stores, unlimited times per day for 7 days. There are no exclusions, even designer handbags can be purchased using the 20% Off reward.
