Arshad Zafar, managing partner for the new Le Peep restaurant on Whitestown Parkway, is thrilled to offer a new Le Peep location in Boone County. The restaurant opened February 6, and Zafar feels the timing was perfect for a Le Peep presence in Whitestown.

“We chose the area because we felt like it is a growing community, and we were excited to be a part of that growth,” he says.

Zafar, who is also vice president of all Le Peep Indianapolis locations, has a strong background in the restaurant industry. He was previously vice president of retail and restaurant operations for Upland Brewery, and formerly served as vice president of operations for Sahm’s restaurants.

Zafar says many people have expressed their excitement to him about the new Le Peep location.

“On social media and in the general public, we have been welcomed with very positive comments,” he says, adding that the owner of the new Le Peep is Ali Hessaraki. “We are looking forward to meeting the guests and developing some great relationships.”

Zafar says there are some key elements to Le Peep’s success in central Indiana.

“We incorporate fresh, locally sourced ingredients to create great food,” Zafar says. “We aspire to create great food. We aspire to deliver friendly, efficient service, and we have worked hard to provide a relaxing and comfortable atmosphere. If you can get these three things right, people will enjoy the restaurant.”

Le Peep restaurants have been in the United States for the last 45 years. The restaurant was founded in Aspen, Colorado, and the restaurant chain initially expanded into the Denver area before spreading to other parts of the country.

Zafar says the menu has gained a strong reputation among its many loyal fans. The breakfast, brunch and lunch selection includes pancakes, waffles, French toast, bacon, salads, signature burgers and more.

“For a wonderful treat, we have our Hoosier bread or banana Nutella pancakes,” he says. “For delicious lighter fare, we have our Holy Veggo, the yogurt parfait, or the mini Greek omelette. For lunch, some customer favorites include the plum burger, the buffalo chicken sandwich and the ranch salad.”

Zafar has his own personal favorites.

“I like the chicken chorizo Benedict, and the taco salad,” he says.

Zafar believes the Whitestown Le Peep location has some distinct features.

“It’s very different from any of the other locations,” he says. “We are located within walking distance from many homes and apartments. There will be great outdoor seating when the weather permits. We also have areas for conversation other than dining tables. We are a family restaurant, but we can cater to adults with a full bar available. This location has bar seating with an open kitchen view. It has an open and airy environment.”

Le Peep is located at 7101 Whitestown Parkway in Whitestown. For more information, visit lepeepindy.com.
