Paws Stop has nutrition & wellness solutions to cure your pet’s problems.

Itchy pet? Sensitive skin or stomach? Allergies? The good news is we can help with these issues and, in most cases, for less than most pet lovers think and much less costly than prescription diets. Food sensitivities and allergies have become more common over the 27 years we have been in business. We help furry family members with these concerns on a daily basis.

The solution is not the same for every pet. We will ask lots of questions to guide you to the best and most economical solution. It’s not always a change of diet. We advise you to change one thing at a time, so we can see how your pet reacts. It can take a bit of time, but the improvement in quality of life is certainly worth it.

We have a variety of nutrition solutions that help or correct itchy and sensitive pets. You will not necessarily need to go to a limited ingredient diet. We have family-owned pet food companies that source and test ingredients for the qualities required to meet their specifications, and they manufacture their own foods. The quality of their ingredients will often provide the solution needed. Our years of experience allow us to often succeed with the first and more affordable solution.

There are times our pets provide more challenging issues. In these cases, it may require a few tries to succeed. We will work with you every step of the way. Diet is not always the problem, below are some additional areas we consider.

Sometimes dry skin can cause symptoms that appear to be from allergies or sensitivities. If this is the case, we have supplements, sprays, shampoos and topical treatments that can solve the issue without changing the diet.

You may have a pet with fleas. Some pets will have a serious reaction to flea bites. We offer flea treatments for as little as $3 per month. We also have the name brands and in some cases the generic equivalent for much less. Mosquitoes now carry risks for our pets and some flea treatments provide protection from them as well.

The skin is the largest organ of elimination. Many irritants, residues and compounds can be excreted through the skin. This is part of why pets develop skin symptoms from allergies that, in people, cause respiratory discharges. A temporary bout of itchiness or rash, may be part of the healing process.

Sometimes treats, chews or dental products cause reactions. Older pets can have skin issues that appear to be from allergies or sensitivities as well. We can help with these too.

We know that pet lovers want to provide the best and longest quality of life to their furry family members. Our passion is to provide our expertise to make that happen.
