Lawrenceburg Ski Slopes Offer Fun for People with Special Needs
If your family includes someone with special needs, you needn’t write off enjoying a family ski trip. Perfect North Slopes in Lawrenceburg, Ind., offers adaptive skiing, enabling those with disabilities to enjoy winter snow sports.
Recently, the Grishaber family of Geist learned about the slopes and enjoyed a fun-filled outing for the whole family, including 10-year-old Meredith, who has special needs.
“She loved it,” Mom Diane reports. “We went for three hours in which we were able to ski as a family; it was awesome.”
Perfect North Sloeps was founded for the 2006-2007 ski season and offers adaptive snow sports lessons. For more information, visit their website at http://www.perfectnorth.com/adaptive/
