Center for Organizational Resources
The mission of the Center for Organizational Resources (COR) is to partner with organizations in assisting them to improve productivity, enhance employee relations, keep satisfied customers, and remain competitive. COR establishes long-term relationships with its clients and links them with resources at Ball State University as well as other resources throughout the state of Indiana.
This comprehensive 50 hour course will prepare students to enter the pharmacy field and to take the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board exam. Course content includes medical terminology specific to the pharmacy, reading and interpreting prescriptions and defining drugs by generic brand names. Students will learn dosage calculations, I.V. flow rates, drug compounding, dose conversions, dispersion of prescription, inventory control and billing and reimbursement.
