Davey Allen is a versatile musician, songwriter, and artist. His latest release, “Pisces” is his fifth album since 2014 and follow up to his 2020 release “May Day”. Pisces will be available to stream on all major platforms starting February 24th, 2021. True to the times, Allen had minimal collaboration and socializing during the making of Pisces. Along with songwriting duties, Davey performs nearly all the records instrumentation with assistance from drummer Mike Sanson. The recording process took place between November 2020 and January 2021 in two separate 1920’s era homes located in Indianapolis’ Broad Ripple neighborhood.
Since 2016 Allen has toured and recorded with rock hall of famer Eric Burdon as member of The Animals. In addition to his tenure with Burdon Allen has shared the stage and performed with artists such as Bob Weir, Patti Smith, Nathaniel Rateliff, the Stone Foxes, Kelsey Waldon, and the Cordovas.
